When will my credit card be charged?  Your credit card will be processed immediately upon ordering.

Do you have an in-person retail store?  We do not have a retail store or showroom. Everything is built to order and shipped directly to you.

How much does shipping cost?  Our Berlin Gardens products ship FREE. For other products, shipping costs will depend on the item, quantity, and your location. You can calculate shipping by simply adding your item to the cart and entering your ship-to state. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.  

How will my order be shipped to me?  Shipping procedures will depend on the size of the products being shipped. $1,500.00 or greater will usually ship via freight carrier, smaller orders will ship UPS or FedEx Ground. Shipping methods for each product can be found in the description.

What is a freight carrier/motor freight shipment?  Larger pieces that are too big to box and ship by ground service will come via motor freight. Pieces will usually be broken down and require some assembly.  The delivery vehicle will be a full-size tractor trailer.  Motor freight shipments will be “curbside” for residential deliveries or to a loading dock at commercial locations.  The freight carriers will not pull onto a residential property in most cases due to liability.  We will email carrier & tracking information once the shipment has left our facility and then the appointment clerk at the carrier’s delivering terminal will call residential customers to set up a delivery window.   Most deliveries to a commercial address will not be scheduled.  Liftgate service is included with motor freight shipping to residential addresses. Inspection of the shipment is required by the customer prior to signing the delivery receipt.

What do I do if my motor freight shipment comes damaged? Damages and shortages must be identified upon product delivery. Shortages need to be determined by comparing packing slip with actual products delivered. Damages of any kind should be noted on the Delivery Receipt. Both the freight carrier and the customer must sign the Delivery Receipt indicating product damages. Photos of damage must be sent, along with a copy of the Delivery Receipt. Be sure to thoroughly inspect the shipment ASAP.  Note any damage to the packaging or interior contents on the delivery receipt before signing. If damage is found, please refuse shipment and contact us immediately. If possible take photos of the damage for our records. We will handle the insurance claim and get a replacement sent out to you as soon as is reasonably possible. If damage is found after the delivery receipt is signed and the delivery driver has left, you will be responsible for the claim and any additional charges that may occur. Dream Yards Direct will take full responsibility for filing the claim and the replacement, repair, return, etc. when damage is noted at the time of the attempted delivery and if the delivery is refused. 

What do I do if my UPS/FedEx delivery arrives damaged?  Please inspect the shipment for visible or concealed damage within 7 days of order receipt.  If damage is found, please contact us immediately and send photos of the damage.  We will send replacement pieces as soon as it’s determined what will be required to repair the item.  Be sure to retain the shipment and all packaging material in the event the shipping company requires an inspection.  If damage is found after 7 days of receipt, you will be responsible for the claim and any additional charges that may occur.   Dream Yards Direct will take full responsibility for filing the claim and the replacement, repair, return, etc. when damage is reported within the noted time frame. 

What is your return policy?  All products can be returned for a refund less a 20% restock fee. You will be responsible to safely and securely pack and return the items at your expense once you receive a return authorization number.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?  Due to the customized nature of our products, many of them are built to order. Because of this, you must make any cancellations or changes to an order within 3 days of the order entry date. Orders processed and packaged for delivery cannot be changed or canceled without incurring a 20% restock fee or an additional charge.

Do you offer a warranty?  Many products in the Berlin Gardens line do have warranties, and it varies by product. To learn more about the warranty for a specific product, check our ‘warranty’ section of the product description. 

What chairs correspond with what tables?  Many of our Berlin Gardens products are offered in multiple heights – pit/conversation height, dining height, counter height, and bar height. Our Berlin Garden chairs are also offered in these heights, and they correspond with the table heights. For example, you’d want to look at our Berlin Gardens dining chairs to pair with our Berlin Gardens dining tables. For your convenience, we do offer some table and chair sets that come with everything you need. How do I care for and maintain my poly furniture?  Each of our individual products will have a care guide in the product description to tell you how to keep your furniture looking great. If you purchased Berlin Gardens furniture, we offer their line of furniture and fabric cleaners for purchase.
